Female Freelancing Trainers (AYE Project)

YHDO is a non-governmental and non-for-profit organization established in 2009, registered with ministry of economy in Afghanistan. YHDO works with interdisciplinary professionals to develop and implement innovative, culturally appropriate, evidence based interventions

Scope of Work:

Training Delivery

• Conduct regular classes, training sessions, and workshops on freelancing skills and freelance business practices.
• Provide comprehensive instruction in video editing, graphic design, e-commerce strategies, and Amazon-related activities.
• Develop and implement training curricula and materials tailored to the needs of the participants.

 Skill Enhancement

• Utilize industry-standard tools and techniques to teach video editing, graphic design, e-commerce, and Amazon activities.
• Offer practical, hands-on exercises and real-world examples to reinforce learning and application.
• Evaluate and assess participants’ skills and progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.

Curriculum Development

• Create and refine training materials, including manuals, guides, and online resources, to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant.
• Adapt training content to reflect current trends and best practices in freelancing and related fields.

Monitoring and Reporting

• Track and document participant progress and achievements.
• Prepare regular reports on training outcomes and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with MYC staff to ensure alignment with the center’s goals and objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Engage with beneficiaries to understand their needs and tailor training sessions accordingly.
• Participate in meetings with MYC staff and other stakeholders to discuss training progress and address any issues.

 Additional Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and support to participants as they apply their new skills in practical scenarios.
• Stay updated on industry developments and incorporate relevant changes into training programs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in freelancing with a strong portfolio in areas such as video editing, graphic design, e-commerce, and Amazon operations.
• Demonstrated ability to teach and train individuals or groups, with a focus on practical and applied learning.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite for design, e-commerce platforms, Amazon Seller Central).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants.
• Previous experience working with youth or in a similar educational context is an advantage.
