Job Descriptions:

Summary of Key Functions

  • Conduct and facilitate the provincial CBHC initial trainings in Paktia, Blkh Kandahar Ghazni  and Khost Provinces for Community Health workers and CHSs.
  • Work closely with the field supervisor/deputy health manager to ensure all CBHC training sessions are conducted as per the plan and schedule and seek guidance and instructions of CARE team when needed.
  • Delivers appropriate training sessions making use of acceptable teaching methods and materials.
  • Design pre and posttest questionnaire for the teaching topics and provide feedback and report.
  • Ensure that all training aids and materials are available and used during training sessions as per the MoPH CHBC guideline/Policy.
  • Prepare training materials in line with the MoPH/CBHC guideline and print training material/handouts for the trainees.
  • she shall be well prepared before facilitation of each session of training possessing solid command of the technical concepts and skills delivered to participants.
  • she shall perform the services diligently and in accordance with the highest professional standards all the time.

Job Requirements:

Education:                   

  • Holding degreed in health related fields such as midwifery, nursing, medical doctor, public health etc. 

Work experience:

 

  • Good understanding of the CBHC activities in Afghanistan with a minimum of 2  years of experience in field-based or in an emergency context.
  • Experience in delivering the CBHC and CHWs training as per the CHW manual and national CBHC guidelines
  • Demonstrated organizational skills: working independently and productively.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and team management skills: the ability to successfully and effectively liaise with key stakeholders.

Languages:

 

  • Fluency in both local languages (Dari or Pashto) is essential and understanding English will be a plus point
