Job Descriptions:

    • Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications according to prescriptions.
    • Ensure accurate labeling, packaging, and distribution of medications.
    • Provide patients with information on the proper use of medications, including dosage, side effects, and storage.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records of pharmaceutical supplies, including drugs, medical devices, and other related products.
    • Monitor stock levels and assist in the procurement of medications and supplies.
    • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure the availability of essential medicines and prevent stockouts.
    • Ensure compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations, standards, and protocols.
    • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy, including the proper storage of medications.
    • Dispose of expired or unused medications according to established procedures.
    • Assist the Pharmacist in preparing and submitting pharmaceutical reports and documentation.
    • Provide support in managing patient records, including medication histories and treatment plans.
    • Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Diploma or certificate in Pharmacy Technology from a recognized institution.
  • Valid certification or license to practice as a Pharmacy Technician in Afghanistan.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, medication management, and drug interactions.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.

Commitment and Dedication:

  • Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
  • Willingness to work in remote or underserved areas as needed.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical pharmaceutical practices.
  • Willingness to work outside official hours

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluency in both national language (Dari & Pashto) oral and written
  • Fluency in English is a must both oral and written
