Job Descriptions:

Job Summary:

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing Kabul Barya’s day-to-day operations, ensuring successful project execution, effective stakeholder management, and the smooth running of internal processes. This role involves strategic planning, financial oversight, and hands-on involvement in various aspects of the business. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, technical acumen, and experience in the fintech or digital banking solutions industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:
    • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects in digital banking, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
    • Address technical challenges in fintech and payment solution projects.
  2. Stakeholder Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors.
    • Prepare and present reports and presentations to stakeholders, keeping them informed of company progress and project updates.
  3. Order Processing:
    • Manage the order processing lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  4. Internal Policy Development:
    • Develop and implement internal policies to streamline operations and improve organizational efficiency.
  5. Finance and Accounts Management:
    • Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and account management.
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage customs duties effectively.
  6. Contract and Agreement Management:
    • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and MOUs with clients, vendors, and partners.
    • Ensure all legal and regulatory compliance in agreements.
  7. Supply Chain Management:
    • Manage the supply chain, ensuring efficient procurement and timely delivery of goods and services.
  8. Technical Oversight:
    • Provide technical guidance and support for fintech and payment solution projects, working closely with technical teams to resolve any issues.
  9. Meeting Attendance and Representation:
    • Attend and represent Kabul Barya in key meetings with stakeholders, ensuring the company's interests are prioritized.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. MBA or a Master’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 3-4 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in fintech, banking solutions, or financial services.
    • Previous experience in digital banking is an asset and preferred.
    • Proven experience in project management with a successful track record in delivering complex projects.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting, financial reporting, and tax management.
    • Technical proficiency in fintech projects and solutions.
    • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
    • Expertise in supply chain management and operational efficiency.
    • Ability to develop and implement internal policies and processes.
    • Knowledge of tax regulations and customs duties.
