MCC-JCL Aynak Minerals Company Limited (“the Company”) has been incorporated in Afghanistan as a limited liability company on 09 September 2008 under the Corporation and Limited Liability Companies Law of Afghanistan. The registered office of the company is situated in Kabul, Afghanistan.The company was established by MCC Tongsin Resource Limited (“MCCT”) and Jiangxi Copper Company Limited (“JCL”) for the implementation of the Mining Contract for the Aynak Copper Deposit signed between the Government of Afghanistan and MCC-Jiangxi Copper Consortium (“the Consortium”) on 25 May 2008 (effective date 08 September 2008). The Consortium comprises of China Metallurgical Group Corporation (“MCC”) (parent entity of MCCT), and JCL. Under the Mining Contract, the Consortium was granted mineral rights for a period of 30 years to undertake exploration, exploitation, processing, smelting and sale of the Aynak Copper Deposit.

3. High-Temperature Metallurgy: Learn about the processes of metal extraction through high-temperature treatments, such as smelting, roasting, and refining. Understand the structures, working principles, and operating methods of metallurgical furnaces like blast furnaces, electric arc furnaces, and converter furnaces.
4. Hydrometallurgy and Electrometallurgy: Study the dissolution processes of minerals in solutions and methods for metal extraction. Learn techniques for metal extraction and purification through solvent extraction and electrolytic deposition. Understand the basic principles of electrolysis and its applications.
5. Metallurgical Materials Science: Study the composition, structure, and properties of alloys, as well as the preparation and application of composite materials.
6. Metallurgical Thermodynamics: Learn basic theories of heat conduction, convection, and radiation. Understand the heat treatment methods for metal materials and their effects on material properties.
7. Environmental Protection and Safety: Study pollution control and environmental protection measures in smelting processes; learn about safety management and occupational health protection in metallurgical engineer
