About MCC-JCL Aynak Minerals Company Limited

MCC-JCL Aynak Minerals Company Limited (“the Company”) has been incorporated in Afghanistan as a limited liability company on 09 September 2008  under the Corporation and Limited Liability Companies Law of Afghanistan. The registered office of the company is situated in Kabul, Afghanistan.The company was established by MCC Tongsin Resource Limited (“MCCT”) and Jiangxi Copper Company Limited (“JCL”) for the implementation of the Mining Contract for the Aynak Copper Deposit signed between the Government of Afghanistan and MCC-Jiangxi Copper Consortium (“the Consortium”) on 25 May 2008 (effective date 08 September 2008). The Consortium comprises of China Metallurgical Group Corporation (“MCC”) (parent entity of MCCT), and JCL. Under the Mining Contract, the Consortium was granted mineral rights for a period of 30 years to undertake exploration, exploitation, processing, smelting and sale of the Aynak Copper Deposit.

Job Description

 1. Inorganic Chemistry: Master the properties, reactions, and fundamental applications of elements and their compounds.  
2. Analytical Chemistry: Learn qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, including chemical analysis principles, reagents, instruments, and operational techniques.  
3. Instrumental Analysis: Understand the principles, operation, and application of modern analytical instruments.  
4. Physical Chemistry: Grasp fundamental theories of chemical thermodynamics, kinetics, electrochemistry, etc., to provide theoretical support for understanding chemical analysis processes.  
5. Mineralogy: Study the composition, structure, and physicochemical properties of minerals to provide a foundation for analysis and testing.  
6. Sample Preparation and Treatment: Learn the methods of sampling, preparation, preservation, and treatment to ensure the representativeness of samples and the accuracy of analysis results.  
7. Chemical Analysis Methods:  
   - Gravimetric Analysis: Determine the content of elements in a sample through steps like precipitation, filtration, drying, and weighing.  
   - Volumetric Analysis: Measure the element content in a sample through titration reactions.  
8. Spectral Analysis: Master the basic principles and applications of spectroscopic techniques, including absorption, emission, and fluorescence spectra.  
9. Chromatographic Analysis: Understand the basic principles and applications of chromatographic techniques, including gas chromatography (GC) and liquid chromatography (HPLC).  
10. Electrochemical Analysis: Learn electrochemical analysis methods, such as potentiometric titration, conductometric titration, and voltammetry.  
11. Data Processing and Analysis: Master methods for processing analytical data, including data statistics, error analysis, and result interpretation.  
12. Quality Control and Assurance: Understand laboratory quality management systems and master quality control measures during the analysis process to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.  
13. Safety and Environmental Protection: Learn laboratory safety procedures and waste disposal methods to ensure safe operation and environmental protection.
