Mining Technician

MCC-JCL Aynak Minerals Company Limited (“the Company”) has been incorporated in Afghanistan as a limited liability company on 09 September 2008  under the Corporation and Limited Liability Companies Law of Afghanistan. The registered office of the company is situated in Kabul, Afghanistan.The company was established by MCC Tongsin Resource Limited (“MCCT”) and Jiangxi Copper Company Limited (“JCL”) for the implementation of the Mining Contract for the Aynak Copper Deposit signed between the Government of Afghanistan and MCC-Jiangxi Copper Consortium (“the Consortium”) on 25 May 2008 (effective date 08 September 2008). The Consortium comprises of China Metallurgical Group Corporation (“MCC”) (parent entity of MCCT), and JCL. Under the Mining Contract, the Consortium was granted mineral rights for a period of 30 years to undertake exploration, exploitation, processing, smelting and sale of the Aynak Copper Deposit.

1. Mineralogy and Petrology: Understanding the composition, structure, and properties of minerals and rocks.  
2. Ore Deposit Geology: Studying the formation, distribution, and metallogenic patterns of ore deposits.  
3. Geology: Includes geological structures, geological mapping, and exploration methods to understand the geological environment and characteristics of ore deposits.  
4. Mine Surveying: Learning mine surveying techniques and tools, mastering the collection and analysis of mining survey data.  
5. Mining Methods: Studying the basic principles and methods of open-pit and underground mining, including blasting, tunneling, and mining processes.  
6. Mine Ventilation and Safety: Learning the design and operation of mine ventilation systems and understanding mining safety regulations and accident prevention measures.  
7. Mining Machinery and Equipment: Understanding the working principles, operation, and maintenance of mining equipment, such as tunneling machines, mining machines, and transportation equipment.  
8. Mine Electrical Systems and Automation: Understanding the application of electrical systems and automation technology in mining.
