MCC-JCL Aynak Minerals Company Limited (“the Company”) has been incorporated in Afghanistan as a limited liability company on 09 September 2008 under the Corporation and Limited Liability Companies Law of Afghanistan. The registered office of the company is situated in Kabul, Afghanistan.The company was established by MCC Tongsin Resource Limited (“MCCT”) and Jiangxi Copper Company Limited (“JCL”) for the implementation of the Mining Contract for the Aynak Copper Deposit signed between the Government of Afghanistan and MCC-Jiangxi Copper Consortium (“the Consortium”) on 25 May 2008 (effective date 08 September 2008). The Consortium comprises of China Metallurgical Group Corporation (“MCC”) (parent entity of MCCT), and JCL. Under the Mining Contract, the Consortium was granted mineral rights for a period of 30 years to undertake exploration, exploitation, processing, smelting and sale of the Aynak Copper Deposit.
1. Structural Mechanics: Basic theories for analyzing and designing civil engineering structures, including structural analysis methods, component design, and stability analysis.
2. Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering: Study of the physical properties, mechanical properties, and hydraulic characteristics of soil. Design and analysis of foundations and substructures to ensure the stability and safety of buildings.
3. Engineering Geology: Evaluation of the impact of geological conditions on construction, mastering engineering geological survey methods.
4. Building Materials: Understanding the properties, performance, and applications of various building materials, including concrete, steel, wood, and asphalt.
5. Building Structures: Learning design and construction techniques for steel structures; mastering design principles and construction methods for concrete structures.
6. Mining Architecture and Facility Design: Learning principles and methods for designing mining buildings (such as main shafts, auxiliary shafts, ventilation shafts, ore processing plants, etc.); understanding the design and construction of mining ventilation, drainage, and power supply systems.
