Job Description

  1. Responsible for overall Operations and Maintenance of the Solar Power Plant.  
  2. Responsible for corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance of the solar power plant
  3. Plan, schedule and ensure execution of daily, weekly and monthly activities to ensure smooth operations of the solar power plant.
  4. The O&M Engineer takes the responsibility of monitoring the performance of the solar power plant on a day-to-day basis and must be available for immediate field trips in case of any fault recover
  5. Identify problems and develop corrective action plans Scheduling and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance.
  6. Provide timely written review reports on operations, status, and constructive feedback as requested.
  7. Respond to emergency call outs.
  8. Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences and rectify them as per the guidance
  9. Responsible for all required repairs, maintenance, and monitoring of all warranty claims.
  10. Preparing weekly and monthly reports comprising important parameters, such as Performance Ratio (PR), Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF), Generation loss, etc.
  11. Leading and guiding the on-site and off-site teams to ensure plant uptime and performance
  12. Coordinating and handling all the day-to-day issues with the client directly
  13. Presenting the monthly plant performance to the management
  14. Identify problems and develops corrective action plans
  15. Responsible for follow up with site team and head office
  16. Responsible for building team down the line

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering only. (Diploma candidates please do not apply)
  • Candidate should have a good working knowledge of all the Electrical works in AC/DC side.
  • Candidate must be well versed in the functioning of Solar Power Plants. 
  • Candidate will be stationed inside the Solar Plant in the company Quarters. 
  • 3-5 years of working experience of Electric/Solar
  • To be fluent in writing and speaking Pashto, Dari and English languages.
  • Excellent computer skills and experience using spreadsheet, and other software tools, such as Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Ability to work as a member of team
  • To be flexible, having positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure
