 HealthNet TPO in Afghanistan aims to improve the health status of the people in Afghanistan by supporting the local communities and the Government of Afghanistan in the development of a sustainable health care system.  HealthNet TPO is working in Afghanistan since 1994, implementing integrated health projects managed mainly by national staff and supported technically by expatriate staff from the headquarter office. HealthNet TPO Afghanistan is providing Primary Health Care, Mental Health and psychosocial services, fighting malaria and supporting Mother & Child Health Care in terms of providing training for Community Midwifes and to conduct operation research. Health Net TPO is currently implementing projects in 22 provinces and the major program it implements are Malaria Control program,SEHATMANDI projects in four provinces, nutrition,  Mental Health and Psychosocial program through a community system strengthening approach.

HealthNet TPO has a zero tolerance toward sexual exploitation and abuse and child abuse. HNITPO takes seriously all concerns and complaints about sexual exploitation and abuse and child abuse involving HNITPO employees and Related Personnel.

Job Descriptions:

  • Performing annual and regular examinations on patients to diagnose various gynecological conditions.
  • Recording and updating patients' medical histories.
  • Advising patients on suitable birth control options.
  • Performing various diagnostic tests on patients, which include Pap smears, STD tests, ultrasounds, hormone profile blood tests, colposcopies, and endometrial biopsies.
  • Explaining test results, diagnoses, and treatment options to patients.
  • Performing surgeries and gynecological procedures on patients, such as cervical cryosurgeries, dilation and curettages, pelvic laparoscopies, and sterilizations.
  • Referring patients to other healthcare specialists as needed.
  • Educating patients on reproductive health issues and disease prevention
  •  Ministry of Health's division of duties according to the formal and formal rules
  •  Correctly and accurately diagnose and treat the patient according to the existing guidelines and forms.
  •  Carrying out all the activities that take place in the hospital according to the division and floor.
  •  Obtaining the consent of the patient or his relative for the operation
  • Responsible for the division of duties and coordination of all surgical procedures in the hospital.
  •  Responsible for the implementation and supply of existing surgical protocols and procedures, if available, and in case of availability, the development and creation of permanent protocols.
  •  Performing all the prescribed (admission bed, bed rest, treatment, treatment, etc.)

Job Requirements:

  • Graduated from Medical Recognized University (MD)

  • Strong knowledge and experties in maternal and child health.
  • Proven expereince of working with mother and children in a clinical or hospital setting is prefferred. 
  • Good English language skills. Computer skills are preferable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
