Job Descriptions:

  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs focusing on operational safety, equipment handling, customer service, and emergency procedures.
  • Ensure all training programs comply with relevant regulatory bodies such as IATA, ICAO, and local aviation authorities.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and align training content with operational goals.
  • Manage onboarding and recurrent training for new hires and existing staff, including mandatory safety and equipment certifications.
  • Develop and implement e-learning modules, hands-on practical training, and classroom instruction to address various learning styles.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, performance reviews, and feedback from trainees and supervisors.
  • Maintain up-to-date training records and certifications for all ground handling staff to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with department heads and supervisors to customize training solutions based on specific operational challenges or changes in industry standards.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the training team to ensure consistency and quality in all training initiatives.
  • Manage the training budget and optimize the use of resources to deliver cost-effective training solutions.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have bachelor’s degree in business administration, education or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of proven work experience in training and development, preferably within the aviation industry.
  • Familiarity with aviation industry regulations and standards (CAA, IATA, ICAO, etc.).
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing training programs.
  • Experience in managing training budgets and resources effectively.
  • Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Fluent in English, Dari/Pashto – written and spoken
  • Computer skills: MS office packages.
  • Certified as a trainer or instructor (e.g., IATA Certified Trainer) is a plus.
