Creating Resources for Sustainable Development Organization (CRSDO) is an Afghan nongovernmental non-political and non-profitable humanitarian organization whose core objectives are to contribute to poverty alleviation and to provide services that contribute towards long-term peace and sustainable development in Afghanistan, CRSDO is founded in 2012 and registered with Ministry of Economics with registration No. (Reg. #: 2631).  CRSDO is mainly involved in the Community Development, Emergency & Relief activities, Food & Non-food item distribution, WASH, Livelihood, Shelter, IDPs, Returnees, Human Trafficking, Education, Training & Capacity Building, GBV, Women and Children Empowerment, Small & Medium Enterprise Development and provide assistance to at risk Adolescent and youth. 

• Job Description:

  Design, develop, and deliver a comprehensive Food processing training program tailored to the unique needs of targeted beneficiaries that aims to empower the trainees’ technical skills with the knowledge and skills required to enhance their technical capacity, Business Plan Development, Production Management and Marketing skills.

• Conducting a pre-assessment/needs assessment of the Beneficiaries in the Food processing.
• Developing a comprehensive training curriculum and preparing the necessary training materials
• Designing and conducting pre- and post-tests to evaluate the effectiveness of the training program. 
• Prepare list of raw and training material during the implementation of the training
• Prepare list of tool kit to be distributed to all trainees after the completion of the training.
• Conducting a five-day training program in Food processing as per the schedule in the site
• Coordinating with CRSDO other project team to organize the training sessions.
• Conduct Business Plan Development Training to all project beneficiaries
• Conduct Market Linkage Training to all beneficiaries in order to effectively find customer and sell their products in the local and regional market
• Share lessons learnt and challenges with Project Manager for future recommendation
• Upon completion of the assignment, preparing and submitting a final report to CRSDO Deputy Director

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, veterinary or other relevant areas.
• Two (2) years of relevant experience  
• Proven practical experience and training in Food processing.  

• Strong writing, communication, and training skills.  
• Work experience with NGOs is preferred. 
• Fluent Pashto and Dari.   
• Proficiency in written English is required.
