Job Descriptions:

Summary of Key Functions:

  • As a member of finance department, he is responsible to provide full support to ensure that staff problems regarding bank correspondence identified and the proposed issued are delivered to staff on time.

Key relations:          

  • Reports to Finance Specialist.
  • Coordinate with the program/unit/department and provincial staff to ensure sufficient fund in their accounts.
  • Communicate closely with programs and provinces on staff problems regarding bank corresponding such as bank account opening.

Location

Based at CARE Afghanistan Kabul Office.

Key Results Expected

  1. Ensure the availability of sufficient fund in bank accounts before releasing the payment.
  2. Prepare checks/write transfer letters based on the approved and posted vouchers.
  3. Preparation of staff program advances through safe cash.
  4. Bank corresponding such as addition and deletion of authorized signatory/employees bank account opening.
  5. Collection of bank statements on monthly bases.
  6. Preparation of bank fees on monthly bases.
  7. Maintaining updated bank and cash ledgers for on time access to any payment.
  8. Maintaining proper filing system.
