Elite Destinations seeks a skilled and creative Freelance Photographer/Videographer to provide high-quality photo and video services for events, tours, and special projects involving journalists and tourists. The photographer/videographer will be responsible for capturing compelling, visually impactful images and videos that align with client needs and the promotion of Afghanistan’s tourism and cultural heritage.

This position requires a deep understanding of the cultural and legal considerations in Afghanistan, with a focus on ensuring that all images and videos are captured ethically and in compliance with local customs, regulations, and consent requirements. The photographer/videographer must be fully equipped with all necessary photography and videography equipment.

• Capture high-quality images and videos during designated events, tours, and special projects.
• Edit, retouch, and enhance photographs and video footage to meet client specifications.
• Produce engaging videos and social media content as needed for marketing purposes.
• Ensure both photos and videos reflect key moments, cultural landmarks, and important people, while maintaining the integrity and essence of the event or tour.
• Collaborate with journalists, tourists, and event organizers to ensure the images/videos align with the storytelling needs of the project.
• Adhere to cultural sensitivities, especially regarding the depiction of individuals, religious symbols, and traditional customs.
• Provide all necessary equipment, including professional-grade cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, and editing software.
  Deliverables
• High-quality images as per client specifications.
• Edited and final video clips, as agreed upon, in the desired format.
• Raw photos and video files, when requested.
• Final edited photographs and videos delivered in both high resolution for print and optimized formats for web or social media.

• The photographer/videographer must have a thorough understanding of the cultural context and sensitivities in Afghanistan.
• Consent from individuals must be obtained before photographing or filming them. This is especially critical when dealing with local communities, religious practices, and sensitive areas.
• The photographer/videographer must be aware of legal regulations surrounding image and video capture in Afghanistan and ensure all content respects the country's laws regarding privacy and intellectual property.
• The content created must adhere to ethical standards, portraying Afghan culture, traditions, and individuals respectfully and accurately.
  Eligibility Criteria:
• The photographer/videographer must be fully equipped with professional-grade photography and videography tools, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and editing software.
• Applicants must have experience in both photography and videography, especially in event or tourism-based settings.
• The individual must be capable of working in diverse environments, including remote and challenging locations within Afghanistan.
• Knowledge and understanding of Afghan culture and the ability to navigate local customs and regulations regarding photography and video capture.
• Portfolio showcasing previous work in both photography and video production.

• All interested photographers/videographers should submit their portfolio/sample of work/ demo reel showcasing experience in both photography and video production for events, tourism, or journalism.
• All interested photographers/videographers is required to provide a daily rate for their services, including all associated expenses (e.g., equipment, editing, etc.), excluding transportation and accommodation costs.
• All interested photographers/videographers is required to provide a detailed list of the photography and videography equipment they own and will use for assignments (e.g., cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, editing software).
