The Center of Business Administration (CBA) is a business academy which offers different educational certifications and courses such as Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and Foundations in Accountancy (FIA), based on practical approaches.
The Center of Business Administration CBA also provides training and capacity building services in the areas of Audit, Finance, Management, Leadership, Communication and Human Resources Management (HRM), in order to improve and acquire market oriented skills which is indispensable in its clients? career growth. We offer training services with a team of experienced professionals who are highly qualified in performing their relative objectives and the combination of their accomplishments to provide high quality training session to participants. In addition to that, students and young professionals are also provided with relevant platforms to enhance and nourish their technical and soft skills.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated ACCA Lecturer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, preparing students for ACCA exams, and supporting students in achieving their professional qualifications. This role requires a strong understanding of ACCA syllabus requirements, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to motivate and guide students toward success in their ACCA journey.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Course Delivery:
- Teach ACCA subjects in line with the ACCA syllabus.
- Develop and implement a structured lesson plan to ensure effective coverage of the curriculum.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure high pass rates.
2. Curriculum Development:
- Update and design course materials, including lecture slides, notes, and assessments, in accordance with ACCA syllabus changes.
- Develop innovative strategies for teaching complex accounting and finance concepts to enhance student engagement and understanding.
3. Student Support and Mentorship:
- Provide academic counseling and mentorship to students, guiding them through their study plans and exam preparation.
- Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback to improve their knowledge and skills.
4. Exam Preparation:
- Conduct mock exams, review sessions, and focus on exam techniques to help students achieve high pass rates.
- Stay updated on ACCA exam patterns and requirements, and incorporate these insights into teaching strategies.
5. Administration and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, assessments, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with the academic team for reporting student progress and any curriculum adjustments.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Essential Qualifications:
- ACCA Member or Finalist.
- Demonstrated understanding of ACCA syllabus and exam standards.
- Experience:
- Prior teaching experience in ACCA or related professional qualifications.
- Relevant work experience in the accounting or finance sector is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to simplify complex accounting concepts and make them engaging for students.
- Proficient in using digital teaching tools and learning management systems.
