HealthNet TPO is a Netherlands based not for profit, non-governmental organization founded on the principle that access to affordable quality health care is a basic human right.

In 1992 HealthNet TPO was established by ‘Doctors without Borders’ to bridge the gap between emergency aid and structural development. The organization is now the result of a merger between HealthNet International (HNI) and the Transcultural Psychosocial Organization (TPO). HNI has knowledge and experience in reinforcing healthcare systems and prevention, diagnosis and treatment of transmissible diseases. TPO is an expert in the field of psychosocial and mental health care for survivors of war and natural disasters.  HealthNet TPO Afghanistan is managed by a team of qualified Afghans and supported by a team of experts at the HQ of the organization in Holland.

HealthNet TPO Afghanistan is providing Primary Health Care, Mental Health and psychosocial services, fighting malaria and supporting Mother & Child Health Care in terms of providing training for Community Midwifes and to conduct operation research. HealthNet TPO is currently implementing projects in almost 20 provinces of Afghanistan and the major program it implements are HER (Health Emergency Response) projects in three provinces, Nutrition, Mental Health and Psychosocial, Malaria Control program, Tuberculus....... through a community system strengthening approach.

HealthNet TPO has a zero tolerance toward sexual exploitation and abuse and child abuse. HNITPO takes seriously all concerns and complaints about sexual exploitation and abuse and child abuse involving HNITPO employees and Related Personnel.

• Follow up and recording of vital signs and on time admiration of advised medicine.
• To ensure that the lab tests which are being advised to the patient are taken timely from main laboratory.
• Follow all instruction given by doctor in patient files like application of NG tube, folly catheter, IV Cannula and monitoring of output/input of fluids and etc.
• Take care of relevant beds, patients and rooms hygiene & Linen.
• To keep proper record of all ward furniture s and Medical and nonmedical equipment’s.
• To protect the ward physical and material assets from damage and thief.
• To request and follow up the ward requirement.
• Attend all meetings, seminars and training assigned by Health Net TPO and head of units.
• Safe deal with sharps, Waste disposal and consider infection prevention measures.
• Respect and keep patient’s confidentiality.
• To express sympathy and proper attitude against the client for their satisfactions.
• Preparation of relevant activities plan and activities Report.
• Attend on duty according to the schedule and use uniform while on job and respect rules regulation Of Health Net TPO. 
• Conduct group and individual heath education sessions with clients.
• Identify and report immediately any problem which interferes in the delivery of services or in achieving the program objective to his/her immediate supervisor.
• Share knowledge, skill and expertise with medical, midwifery and nursing students.
• Responsible for proper data collection and monthly report according to EPHS.
• Try to implement hospital standards which are related to the nursing care.
• Participate in research, Professional organization and related committees and in continuing education opportunities.
• Preparing of Night duty list of Nurses, Technician and midwifes on monthly base.
• Any other relevant task given by doctor, Head nurse and head of the unit.

• Graduated from nursing recognized medical institute.
• At least 5-year work experience in relevant field.
• Well familiar with Ms. Office and data entry.
• Effective communication and problem solving skills
• Fluent in local languages and English.
• Familiar with the hospital related reports and able to prepare these reports
• Well familiar with EPHS package of health services.
