Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Installation and Commissioning:
Install and commission hybrid solar power systems at telecommunication sites.
Ensure proper installation and optimal performance of solar power systems and diesel generators.
Integrate and interface systems with other telecommunication equipment.
Supervise the installation and commissioning process, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
Design and Planning:
Design and plan hybrid solar power systems for telecommunication sites.
Prepare technical drawings and specifications for the systems.
Maintenance and Repair:
Perform periodic and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
Identify and troubleshoot technical issues in solar power systems and diesel generators.
Manage spare parts and equipment needed for repairs.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules for the systems.
Remote Monitoring and Management:
Monitor and control hybrid solar power systems remotely.
Utilize software and monitoring tools to control system performance.
Develop and implement remote monitoring and control systems.
Project Management:
Manage installation and commissioning projects for hybrid solar power systems at various sites.
Coordinate with technical teams and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
Travel to Provinces and Districts:
Be prepared to travel to provinces and districts in Afghanistan for system installation, repair, and maintenance.
Capable of undertaking long-term assignments in different regions.
Communication and Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with technical teams and other organizational units.
Provide accurate and comprehensive reports on system performance and status to senior management.
Job Requirements
Skills and Requirements:
Proficiency in installing and commissioning hybrid solar power systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair solar power systems and diesel generators.
Familiarity with remote monitoring and control software and tools.
Fluency in Dari and Pashto.
Knowledge of English (considered a plus).
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in hybrid solar power systems.
