Emerging Consulting Group (ECG) is a consulting firm based in Kabul, Afghanistan with a support office in Virginia, United States. ECG specialized in financial management, financial audits, accounting, taxation, and business compliance. Since 2015, ECG assisted its clients in the United States, Afghanistan, and other countries in Africa and Europe.

ECG is seeking an experienced Audit Expert based in Afghanistan to support a proposed UN funded project in the provinces of Herat, Balkh and Badakhshan.

• At least 5 years’ experience in auditing (assurance, validation) microfinance, banking and private sector 

• At least 3 years’ experience of assurance validation and audit in microfinance, banking and private sector in Afghanistan for providing assurance, validation and evaluation to the donors, specially UN Agencies. 

• Qualified chartered accountant or Certified Public Accountant 
• Qualified university graduate from a recognized university in finance, accounting 

• Language Qualifications – fluent in English, Pashto and Dari
