Position Summary

The Marketing and Sales Intern at Tamkin Company will play a crucial role in supporting the execution of marketing strategies and driving sales initiatives that align with Tamkin's mission and vision. This role requires a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a strong interest in marketing, sales, and economic development.

As an intern, you will gain valuable experience in market analysis, client engagement, campaign execution, and the practical application of Islamic economic principles in business development. Key Responsibilities

Marketing Support:

  • Assist in planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns to promote Tamkin’s services and initiatives.
  • Support in creating engaging content for social media, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance to identify areas for improvement.

Sales Engagement:

  • Support the sales team in identifying and engaging with potential clients and investors.
  • Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and other client-facing materials.
  • Conduct follow-ups with leads and maintain updated client records in the CRM system.

Market Research:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and new opportunities.
  • Gather insights on competitors and target audiences to inform marketing and sales strategies.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including design, strategy, and content, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for innovative marketing and sales initiatives.

Event Support:

  • Assist in organizing and managing marketing events, webinars, and conferences to showcase Tamkin’s vision and services.
  • Handle logistics, promotion, and follow-up activities for successful event execution.

 

 

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of local languages (Dari or Pashto) is a plus.
  • Interest in Islamic economics and sustainable business models.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing tools.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and basic sales strategies.
  • Passion for mission-driven initiatives and a desire to make a meaningful impact.
