About ANAFAE:

The Afghan National Association For Adult Education (ANAFAE), founded in September 2005, with the support of DVV International works to foster the development of local Adult and Community Learning Centers, promotes education strategies and programs for disadvantaged groups, young adults, with a particular focus on literacy, basic education, education for employability and lifelong learning.

In the literacy programs of ANAFAE and its partner DVV International, youth participants learn reading, writing, and numeracy, reflect on their role in the family and community, deal with health and hygiene topics, and develop ideas for their economic activities. These literacy programs have a direct and positive effect on the personal development, family health, and school attendance of children.

Job Descriptions:

Job Summary: The Marketing clerk will be responsible for promoting the ANAFAE and its training centers through the creation of promotional materials, including posters and videos. He will also handle the filming and editing of seminars and conferences, ensuring all content aligns with the organization's marketing strategy. Additionally, the marketing clerk will assist with various office tasks within the department.

  • design and create promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, posters, banners, and social media content to advertise ANAFAE's courses and training programs.
  • Film seminars, workshops, and conferences hosted by ANAFAE, capturing all relevant content.
  • Edit and produce high-quality video content for promotional purposes, including sharing on social media platforms and internal use.
  • Maintain an archive of multimedia content, ensuring easy retrieval for future use.
  • Assist in organizing marketing-related events, such as seminars, exhibitions, and conferences.
  • Support the program team and center managers in managing ANAFAE’s social media accounts and Centers (e.g. Facebook and website).
  • Support the department with various administrative and office-related tasks as needed.
  • Perform any other marketing-related tasks as directed by the Program team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Proper written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in managing social media platforms and creating engaging digital content.
  • Basic knowledge of marketing principles and branding.
  • Fluency in Dari and English
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Photography and videography skills.
  • Experience working in the education or non-profit sector.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and email marketing tools.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools.
