Job Descriptions:

1. Position Overview:

The Account Officer will support and manage financial activities, including expense processing, financial documentation, and compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

2. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and record financial data in the database for expense management, services, and payments.
  • Process and track financial transactions, including fund collection from relevant departments.
  • Assist in preparing and organizing financial and accounting forms.
  • Support the development of financial transparency systems.
  • Contribute to expenditure planning and budgeting processes.
  • Assist in maintaining and organizing financial records and documents.
  • Monitor fund transfers and financial transactions.
  • Ensure coordination and communication with relevant departments.
  • Perform additional financial and administrative tasks as required.

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Public Administration, Management, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in financial management, accounting, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools such as QuickBooks and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to financial data and reporting.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills in Pashto, Dari, and English (both written and spoken).
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial documentation.
  • Understanding of financial policies, auditing principles, and financial regulations.

Skills for Account Officer :

  • Financial Documentation: Proficiency in collecting, organizing, and recording financial transactions.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to review financial data, track expenses, and support budgeting processes.
  • Financial Reporting: Experience in preparing and organizing financial reports, ensuring compliance with financial policies.
  • Budgeting Support: Assisting in the development of expenditure plans and financial documentation.
  • Audit Assistance: Supporting internal and external audit activities by maintaining financial records.
  • Knowledge of Taxation & Regulations: Basic understanding of financial laws and policies.
