Organization for Sustainable Development (OFSD) is a non-profit, non-political, and non-governmental organization and was established in 2014 by a group of Afghans. OFSD participates
in the process of reconstruction and development of Afghanistan by working with and for people in need in Afghanistan. We work to empower Afghans for reaching a better future. We do this by
designing, developing, and implementing projects across Afghanistan focusing on seven thematic
areas including: agriculture, democracy and governance, economic growth, education, gender
equality, infrastructure, and humanitarian assistance.

Utilize our knowledge and resources to support deserving individual and communities throughout Afghanistan by engaging and collaborating with local institutions while designing appropriate solutions.
OBJECTIVE -1:
Closely work with Aid Agencies in all emergencies to assess, mobilize, and support their goals in targeted geographies.
OBJECTIVE -2:
Design and implement programs in line with stakeholders’ priorities that contribute to the economic development of people below the poverty line, create employment opportunities, advocate for and raise awareness to scale up the existing understanding of Afghans.
OBJECTIVE -3:
Coordinate with civil society actors, collaborate efforts with local NGOs, existing alliances, and community leaders to overcome challenges in all implementations.

The Coordinator/Project Assistant will provide essential support to the project coordination and project report ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of project. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administrative Support: Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, preparing documents, and maintaining filing systems at the site office. This may include managing travel arrangements, expense reports, and other logistical tasks.
* Program/Project Support: Assist in the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of program/project activities. This may include data collection, report writing, and communication with stakeholders.
* Logistics and Coordination: Coordinate logistical arrangements for meetings, workshops, and other events. This may include venue booking, material preparation, and participant management.
* Communication and Liaison: Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including staff, partners, and beneficiaries.
* Data Management: Assist in data entry, analysis, and reporting, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
* Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the team.
Specific Tasks
* Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for the program manager.
* Maintain an updated database of program participants/beneficiaries.
* Coordinate logistics for field visits and data collection exercises.
* Draft communication materials, such as announcements.
* Support the preparation of presentations and reports for the main office.
* Translate documents between local language and English.

Required Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and work experience in the field.
* 2 years of experience in a similar coordinating or administrative role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in local Languages, and working proficiency in English.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
* Experience working with NGOs or international organizations.
* Experience in Relevant Sector, Development, Humanitarian Aid.
