Future Generations (FG) is the collective name for an international network of non-governmental organizations including FG Country Programs in Asia and Africa, Future Generations University (FGU) and its alumni in 17 countries, academia, and individual’s experts. The original charitable organization, Future Generations, was established in 1992 for the purpose of learning from, and building upon the world’s most successful examples of community empowerment and social change. It is complemented by the Future Generations Graduate School (Future Generations University) in 2006 in the State of West Virginia with authorization to provide a Master's Degree in Applied Community Change focus on Conservation and Peace building. The Future Generations Afghanistan (FGA) established in May 2002 and obtained its registration certificate from Ministry of Economy, Government of Afghanistan in October 2005. Since 2007, FGA has been operational in Eastern Afghanistan, and successfully completed development and humanitarian programs in Nangarhar, Laghman , Kunar, Nuristan, Logar, Wardak, Nimruz, Herat, Kanadahar, Badghis and Bamyan Provinces
The HR & Logistics Officer is responsible for transport, warehousing, operation quality control, and FGA`s all materials/equipment’s purchasing, delivery, stocking and their maintenance, Plan, Implement and Document all HR activities relating to Recruitment, Hiring, Dismissal, Payroll, HR Data Base, Salary, Trainings and other HR Requirements
Ensure proper warehouse management. This includes storage space, condition, and the actual storage of stock.
Work closely with provincial admin &logistic sections and with procurement Manager to obtain needed materials with particular attention to cost control, quality and timely delivery
Responsible for the supervision, monitoring, and detailed recording of all warehouse and stock movement activities consistent with FGA procedures requiring complete accuracy and timely delivery.
Ensure maximum availability and implementation of controls and monitoring mechanisms for all logistics assets such as vehicles, generators, computers and all other technical items using either petrol, diesel to maximize efficiency and ensure regular maintenance
Check-in weekly/ monthly plan with procurement manger and provincial admin/logistic, providing weekly updates (weekly work plan) on all logistical activities
Qualification:
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as a team player.
Experience in managing small teams of administrative staff.
Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
Fluent in Pashto and/or Dari with skills in English.
Good self-starter with effective time management skills and high levels of the organization
Strong skills in coordinating and collaborating with others in partnership
Positive, solution-driven, respectful, and with a ‘can-do’ attitude
Computer skills (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
