Job Descriptions:

The Provincial Liaison Officer (PLO) role incumbent is responsible for ensuring seamless communication, coordination, and operational efficiency between the headquarters and security personnel deployed in various locations across the region. The PLO will work closely with relevant Guards/Watchmen and RLOs to ensure the security services meet client expectations and operational standards. The role is vital in ensuring that the regional security operations align with the company’s overall goals and provide an excellent level of service to all clients.

1.    Liaison & Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the company, Provincial Liaison Officer (PLOs) and security personnel in the region.
  • Act as the bridge between security guards, clients, and the management team, ensuring any concerns or issues are communicated effectively.
  • Regularly update management on regional security operations and personnel performance.
  • Attend government authorities and ATRA meetings upon their invitation on behalf of client (EA) and Loxdon.

 

2.    Coordination of Operations:

  • Oversee the daily operations of security teams across various sites within the region.
  • Ensure security personnel are well-deployed and schedules are adhered to as per the client’s requirements.
  • Coordinate with PLOs to ensure all posts are covered, and the guards are briefed on their duties and responsibilities.
  • Assist in the mobilization of new contracts and ensure a smooth handover of sites when necessary.
  • Accompany fuel suppliers while distributing fuel to the respective sites.
  • Accompany technical team while conducting fuel consumptions on the respective sites.

3.    Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Prepare regular site visit plan, conduct the inspections to monitor guard performance and ensure compliance with KPIs, protocols and client expectations.
  • Prepare regular reports on operational issues, staff performance, and site security needs.
  • Work with PLOs to address any performance issues, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure PLOs are in direct contact with relevant guards, and addresses any issues in the site on timely manner.
  • Regular monitor the respective sites to ensure accountability and prevent fuel, equipment & power misuse or theft.

4.    Operation Team Relations:

  • Maintain strong relationships with guards and operation team within the region, addressing their concerns and needs and ensuring high team satisfaction.
  • Attend client meetings and site reviews, providing updates on the status of security operations and responding to feedback.
  • Address & resolve any community-based conflicts on timely manner.  

5.    Training & Development:

  • Coordinate with HR and Operation departments to ensure guards received trainings required for expected duties and performances.
  • Identify training gaps and recommend additional training or retraining for security personnel as required.
  • Train SSGs on fuel retrievals from fuel suppliers.

6.    Crisis Management & Incident Response:

  • Respond to incidents and emergencies within the region, ensuring quick and appropriate resolution.
  • Work with management and law enforcement agencies to coordinate responses to security breaches or emergencies.
  • Prepare incident reports and recommend actions to prevent future occurrences.

7.    Compliance & Standards:

  • Ensure that all security personnel comply with legal and company policies, including health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation (e.g., incident reports, attendance logs) is completed and filed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that uniforms, equipment, and security systems are maintained according to the company’s standards.

8.    Staff Management:

  • Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of security personnel in the region.
  • Support the HR department in managing any disciplinary or performance-related issues.
  • Work to maintain high staff morale and ensure employee retention through effective communication and support.
  • Prepare all relevant sites personnel monthly attendance sheet.
  • Coordinate any personnel or guards resignation, termination or any other offense cases on timely manner.
  • Report guards any misconduct on timely manner for further processes and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain a close coordination with HR department for any personnel and HR related issues.
  • Prepare personnel and guards clearance forms and make sure the handover process has been done to the respective PLO.

9.    Reporting:

  • Receive daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual report from the respective PLOs.
  • Review the reports and address the challenges on timely manner.
  • Ensure to have records and supporting documents of the reports in a standard filing manner.
  • Provide respective sites incident reports on timely manner i.e. theft, fire, natural disasters, or force entry.
  • Provide fuel shortage and fuel leakage report on timely manner.
  • Provide daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual report to Management Team. 


Job Requirements:

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

  • A Bachelor degree or diploma in security management, law enforcement, business administration, or a related field is advantageous.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a security, military, or law enforcement role, preferably with supervisory or management responsibilities.
  • Experience in client relationship management and operations coordination within the security industry is preferred. 

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise teams across multiple locations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing relationships with clients, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of security operations, risk management, and emergency response protocols.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong report-writing and administrative skills, with attention to detail.

Certifications:

  • Certifications in security operations, risk management, or crisis management are a plus.

Physical & Other Requirements:

  • Flexibility to travel within the region.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays when required.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Physically fit to handle on-site inspections and incident management.
