Action Against Hunger/Action Contre La Faim (AAH/ACF) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that was created in France in1979. AAH/ACF has been active in Afghanistan in the medical, nutrition, food security, and water and sanitation fields since 1995.AAH/ACF improved access to health and nutrition services for the most vulnerable people, who live in remote areas without a localhealth system. In particular, the country team supported pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under five, who are atgreater risk of malnutrition. Nutrition programs rely on an integrated approach, addressing both primary and underlying causes, inorder to have a lasting impact on nutritional status. The country team worked at community level, in villages and at provincial level,strengthening the public health system. It also worked at national level to ensure reliable information about the nutritional situation reached the wider humanitarian community. Covid-19 prevention was integrated into all interventions and additional responseactivities were implemented, such as the disinfection of health facilities and public places, cash assistance, psychosocial support andthe distribution of hygiene kits to affected populations.

Ensure security of people, equipment and premises

Mission 1: Ensure people’s security

The daily worker as Security Guard is responsible for:

• Check entries, exits, movements of people inside and outside the premises, during day;
• Control crowd movements, don’t allow crowd at the gate/s.
• Make sure all external persons are registered properly
• Don not allow visitors/guests without registration, and provide them visitor card and accompany them.
• Make sure outsiders are requested ID Card when entering ACF compounds.
• Make sure Visitors badge is allocated to guests/visitors.

Mission 2: Ensure security of premises, equipment and properties

The daily worker as Security guard/s are responsible for:

• Make sure all ACF equipment is secure
• Make sure that the transfer of any items from inside of the ACF premises to the outside of the premises, and vice versa is legal
• Report any suspicious issue to the line manager/HAS officer.
• Make sure that all safety equipment (fire/panic alarms, fire extinguisher, safety bucket, lights, CC-TV camera…) are working properly.

Skills and Education

Education: High school gradute

Experience: At least 3 years experience (Experience with NGOs are asset)

Skills: Screening, Fire preventions Skills, Good communication skills, physically fit
