The Manager  at Clock Tower Hotel is the strategic and operational leader responsible for ensuring a superior guest experience, strong team performance, and profitability. This role demands proactive leadership, financial acumen, and a commitment to hospitality excellence across all departments. The GM will drive business goals while maintaining Clock Tower Hotel’s high standards in service, comfort, and professionalism

Job Requirements:

🔹 Key Responsibilities

1. Operations & Guest Experience

  • Oversee day-to-day hotel functions: front desk, housekeeping, F&B, security, maintenance, and reservations.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between departments for seamless guest service.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and ensure quick resolution of issues or complaints.
  • Uphold service quality and operational efficiency to exceed expectations.

2. Financial & Revenue Management

  • Create, monitor, and optimize budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reports.
  • Maximize profitability through cost control, revenue generation, and expense management.
  • Lead pricing strategy, room rate optimization, and occupancy/revenue analysis.
  • Work closely with finance to ensure timely reporting and billing accuracy.

3. Team Leadership & HR Management

  • Lead recruitment, training, supervision, and retention of all department staff.
  • Promote a culture of respect, teamwork, and motivation.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and career development planning.
  • Ensure legal and HR policy compliance across all departments.

4. Marketing & Sales Strategy

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to boost bookings and hotel visibility.
  • Collaborate with online travel agencies (OTAs) and manage the hotel’s digital presence.
  • Build partnerships with local businesses, travel agencies, and corporate clients.
  • Oversee social media content, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.

5. Compliance & Facility Management

  • Ensure hotel complies with local regulations, licensing, health & safety laws.
  • Coordinate periodic inspections, fire safety drills, and emergency plans.
  • Monitor and supervise hotel maintenance and renovation plans.

6. Governmental Affairs & Licensing

  • Handle renewal and compliance with all municipal/government permits and hotel licenses.
  • Maintain professional relationships with government authorities and local agencies.

🔹 Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive hotel management experience, preferably as a GM or Assistant GM.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
  • Finance & Budgeting: Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and revenue analysis.
  • Marketing Savvy: Familiar with digital marketing, OTAs, SEO, and social media platforms.
  • Tech Proficiency: Experience with PMS, POS, OTA extranets, and Microsoft Office.
  • Languages: English and Dari/Pashto preferred.
