LKRO is a non-governmental, non-profit organization focused on community development in southern Afghanistan. The organization implements projects in livelihood, education, health, and emergency response.

The Finance Manager leads the Finance Unit and oversees all programmatic and financial activities, ensuring compliance with donor and audit requirements.
Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the Finance Unit and ensure effective implementation of all financial transactions
 • Oversee all financial operations and budgeting.
• Ensure donor compliance and accurate financial reporting.
• Lead external and internal audit preparations and follow-up.
• Manage cash flow and payroll, including tax compliance.
• Implement strong financial controls and procedures.
• Coordinate with program teams on budgets and expenditures.
• Supervise and build capacity of finance staff.
• Leads the Finance Unit and ensures all financial systems are functioning efficiently.
• Report to Program Manager, Deputy Director/General Director.
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the Senior.

At least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with 2 years in a leadership role
♦ Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Excel, and other accounting tools
♦ Strong knowledge of donor compliance (UN, USAID, EU, etc.)
♦ Excellent communication, leadership, and report-writing skills
