About Organization of Rural Development and Rehabilitation:

Organization of Rural Development & Rehabilitation is a non-political, non-religious, and non-profit structure established on 1996 with the title of Rural Development & Rehabilitation (RDR) under license # 3958 and registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan. In the respect to the country regulations and law, the name of RDR changed to ORDR (Organization of Rural Development and Rehabilitation) on 2016. ORDR serves in the field of humanitarian assistance, health, education, Agriculture and women protection services.


Job Descriptions:

Key Responsibilities:

·        Maintain accurate financial records, including preparation and review of payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents.

·        Manage petty cash, ensure proper documentation, and process timely replenishment.

·        Assist in bank reconciliations, cashbook maintenance, and monthly financial reporting to the main office.

·        File and archive financial documents in an organized and confidential manner.

·        Support procurement processes, including preparing purchase requests, quotations, and maintaining procurement files.

·        Maintain and regularly update inventory, asset management, and office supply records.

·        Coordinate administrative logistics such as staff travel, meeting arrangements, and training events.

·        Support recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews, collecting HR documents, and maintaining personnel files.

·       Ensure compliance with organizational and donor finance/admin procedures and audit requirements.

Job Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.

·        Fluency in English, Pashto and Dari

·        Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.

·        Experience with bookkeeping, petty cash handling, and financial documentation.

·        Familiarity with procurement, inventory, and administrative support functions.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.

·        Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is an asset.
