Bu Ali Rehabilitation and Aid Network (BARAN) is a nongovernmental, non-political and independent organization. BARAN has been established in 27.7.2006 registered with the Ministry of Economy (MoEc), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Ministry of Education (MoE) , Ministry of labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD), Ministry of Justice (MoJ) in order to deliver standard health care, social and educational services including conducting researches. Special attention is given for the community development by promoting capacity building programs.
Contract Management:
Draft, review, and negotiate all types of contracts with vendors and clients, based to procurement and fleet requests.
Ensure contracts comply with legal, financial, and BARAN operational standards & Policy and mitigate potential risks.
Monitor contract performance and ensure all obligations, deliverables, and deadlines are met.
Maintain a contract database and tracking system for renewals, expirations, and amendments.
Liaise with legal counsel when necessary for complex contract matters or disputes.
Lead market assessments and maintain price list with the approved committee.
Close work with procurement and fleet managers.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure adherence to national laws, donor requirements, and internal policies.
Identify risks in contractual arrangements and propose mitigation strategies.
Monitor changes in legislation and update contract templates as needed.
Procurement & Vendor Support:
Support procurement processes by ensuring contractual clarity in vendor agreements.
Evaluate supplier and service provider performance in relation to contract terms.
Prepare regular reports on contract status and compliance for senior management.
Ensure timely delivery of goods and services in accordance with contract and program needs and donor standard.
Ensure the organization fleet, including vehicle assignment, maintenance, fuel usage are in accordance with contract.
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare regular reports on contract status and compliance for line manager & senior management.
Organize and archive all contract-related documents for audit and reference purposes.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Administration, or related field (master’s degree is a plus).
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in contract administration or legal roles, preferably in NGOs, international organizations, or corporations.
Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and risk management.
Travel to the field
Monitoring from contracts administration.
