Bu Ali Rehabilitation and Aid Network (BARAN) is a nongovernmental, non-political and independent organization. BARAN has been established in 27.7.2006 registered with the Ministry of Economy (MoEc), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Ministry of Education (MoE) , Ministry of labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD), Ministry of Justice (MoJ) in order to deliver standard health care, social and educational services including conducting researches. Special attention is given for the community development by promoting capacity building programs.
Job Purpose:
To ensure proper receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking of non-medical supplies such as stationery, office equipment, cleaning materials, maintenance tools, and other general inventory items. The stock keeper plays a critical role in maintaining accurate stock levels and ensuring smooth supply operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Receive non-medical goods from suppliers or procurement team.
- Check and verify quantity, quality, and condition of items.
- Ensure proper documentation (delivery notes, goods received notes)
- Organize and label items correctly.
- Store supplies safely and in an accessible manner.
- Maintain up-to-date stock cards/registers
- Perform regular physical stock counts
- Issue items to departments or staff upon approved requests.
- Record all stock movements accurately.
- Ensure goods are issued on a “First In, First Out” (FIFO) basis.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly stock status reports.
- Report expired, damaged, or lost items immediately.
- Keep the storeroom clean, organized, and secure.
- Control access to storage areas.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• High school graduate; diploma in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in stock or storekeeping.
