Job Description – IT- Technician

The Golbahar Towers office is seeking a skilled ISP/ICT Technician who specializes in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of internet services. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing wireless and LAN networks, with a strong focus on bandwidth management and network optimization. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver reliable and secure network services to both residential and corporate clients.

Responsibilities:

• Setup, configuration, and maintenance of wireless networks (Point-to-Point and Point-to-Multipoint).
• Installation and configuration of wireless equipment (UBNT, Mikrotik, Cambium, Unifi, etc.).
• Configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of LAN, VLAN, and Switch systems.
• Bandwidth management, QoS configuration, and traffic shaping using Mikrotik, Cisco, or equivalent tools.
• Monitoring and optimization of network performance using tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, or The Dude.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for internet clients (residential and corporate).
• Documenting network topology, device configurations, and performed actions.
• Collaborating on the design and implementation of new network expansion projects.
• Ensuring adherence to network security standards and proposing enhancements.
• Performing additional technical tasks as assigned by the office.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of proven experience in ISP or ICT sector with direct involvement in configuration and bandwidth management.
• Strong expertise in network configuration tools (Winbox, Mikrotik, Cisco, UBNT).
• In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, NAT, VPN, Firewall, and bandwidth control/QoS concepts.
• Ability to analyze and manage network load, optimize bandwidth allocation, and ensure fair usage policies.
• Familiarity with networking standards and diagnostic tools (basic fiber knowledge such as OTDR, Splicing, etc. is considered an advantage, but not mandatory).
• Valid certifications such as MTCNA, CCNA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and time management skills.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Customer service mindset and ability to handle corporate/residential clients.
• Willingness to perform other office-assigned tasks when necessary.
