Job Description
- Under the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator, be responsible for overseeing the activities of nutrition in 76 Family Health Houses (FHHs) in Herat and Farah to ensure the delivery of quality services.
- Identify knowledge and skill gaps among project staff and implement capacity-building activities based on needs.
- Conduct regular meetings with beneficiaries, community elders, and health councils to ensure program effectiveness and raise community awareness of project services.
- Ensure proper management and distribution of informational and educational materials (IEC) to beneficiaries.
- Identify and promptly report any programmatic or administrative issues that may hinder the achievement of program objectives.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Coordinator.
- Identify and report immediately any program or administrative problems that may interfere with achieving program objectives.
Job Requirements
- MD,
- At least one year of experience in management and supervision in nutrition interventions
- Familiarity with local languages and basic knowledge of English.
- Ability and willingness to travel to remote areas.
- Proficiency in using computer programs such as Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Familiarity with local environments.
