About RRAA

Rural Rehabilitation Association for Afghanistan (RRAA) is a non-profit, non-governmental, and non-political NGO established in 1990. The head office of the organization is located in Kabul, Afghanistan, and delivers humanitarian services in the sectors of Health, Livelihood, Good Governance, WASH, and Emergency through its four regional offices in Mazar, Herat, Jalalabad, and the central zone in a decentralized manner.

Purpose of the Role

Oversee pharmaceutical services, ensuring quality assurance, inventory control, and compliance with national standards. Supervise pharmacy staff, plan procurement, and coordinate with health facilities for timely and safe medication distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• - Manage pharmaceutical procurement and distribution.
• - Ensure quality assurance of medicines and supplies.
• - Supervise pharmacy staff and operations.
• - Monitor inventory and stock levels.
• - Coordinate with health facilities for supply needs.
• - Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.
• - Train staff on pharmacy protocols and safety.
• - Maintain accurate records and reporting.
• - Conduct audits and inspections.
• - Support rational drug use and patient safety.

Qualifications and Experience

• - Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Public Health.
• - 8–10 years of experience as a quality assurance pharmacist.

Skills and Competencies

• - Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical standards.
• - Experience in inventory and supply chain management.
• - Attention to detail and quality control.
• - Effective communication and training skills.
