Cook & Cleaner

VDO is an independent, non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization established in January 07, 2015. VDO ‘s efforts focus on changing mentalities and attitudes about women’s participation and contribution in the society. Not only, it also focuses on economic development, advocacy, research and girl’s education.

Cooking 

• Plan, prepare, and serve meals according to approved menus and dietary requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Manage kitchen supplies, inventory, and ensure proper storage of food items.
• Follow food safety standards and organizational health regulations.
• Assist in organizing meals for staff events or gatherings as required.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Project manager, as required.

Cleaning 

• Clean offices, corridors, restrooms, and common areas regularly
• Dispose of waste properly and maintain cleanliness of trash collection points.
• Ensure floors, windows, furniture, and office equipment are clean and tidy.
• Assist in maintaining cleaning supplies and report when restocking is needed.
• Support special cleaning tasks as required for events or inspections.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Project manager, as required.

• Relevant Education & training or experience in cooking and food preparation & Office Cleaning.
• 2+ years of experience as a cook & Cleaner in offices, NGOs, or catering.
• Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively.
• experience in cleaning or janitorial services.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties efficiently

Deliverables:

• Daily meals prepared and served on time.
• Clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Properly managed kitchen inventory and supplies.
• Clean and hygienic office environment.
• Proper disposal and management of waste.
• Regular cleaning logs maintained (if required).
