Job Descriptions:

Main Responsibilities of this position:

  • Provide rightsholders with small Business development and TVET support.
  • Conducting market and risk analyses to identify viable, sustainable trades and mitigate potential livelihood-related risks.
  • Beneficiary support and follow-up.
  • Provision of Gender-sensitive and inclusive program.
  • Coordination and Documentation

Main Taks of this position:

  • Identify and promote viable business opportunities linked to TVET trades to support sustainable income generation.
  • Support beneficiaries in developing simple business plans and start-up strategies aligned with local market demand.
  • Link TVET graduates with markets, suppliers, service providers, and relevant private sector actors.
  • Contrebute to market assessments and value chain analysis to inform trade selection and business viability.
  • Identify and promote viable business opportunities linked to TVET trades to support sustainable income generation.
  • Provide business development guidance to trainees, including basic entrepreneurship, costing, pricing, and market linkage support.

  • Provide business development guidance to trainees, including basic entrepreneurship, costing, pricing, and market linkage support.
  • Support beneficiaries in developing simple business plans and start-up strategies aligned with local market demand.
  • Link TVET graduates with markets, suppliers, service providers, and relevant private sector actors
  • Integrate business development concepts into TVET activities to enhance employability and self-employment outcomes.
  • Monitor business start-up progress and provide follow-up advisory support to address operational challenges.
  • Ensure livelihood and TVET activities are designed and implemented in a gender-responsive and inclusive manner.
  •  Promote equitable participation of women, men, and vulnerable groups by addressing cultural, social, and accessibility barriers.
  • Monitor and report on gender and inclusion outcomes, integrating feedback from female and male rightsholders to improve program quality.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including activity records, attendance sheets, assessments, and reports.
  • Compile, organize, and submit timely progress reports, case studies, and data to support monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes.
  • Ensure proper filing and data management in line with NCA documentation standards and donor requirements.

  • Batchelor degree in education, social science or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Business development, TVET or livelihoods programme.
  • Familiar with Kunar province geography.
  • Familiar with the context and culture of Kunar.
  • Good communication skills (English, Dari and Pashto).
