The Youth’s Assembly for Afghanistan Rehabilitation (YAAR) is a national, non-governmental, and non-profit organization founded in 1994, register no. 157, to deliver humanitarian assistance and support Afghanistan’s long-term recovery. Over the last three decades, YAAR has grown into a capable and community-focused organization with experience working in more than 17 provinces and implemented multisectoral projects in partnership with UN agencies, INGOs, embassies, and local institutions.
The CBHC Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and monitoring community-based health care activities in accordance with Afghanistan Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) CBHC strategy and BPHS/EPHS guidelines. The position ensures effective engagement of Community Health Workers (CHWs), Family Health Action Groups (FHAGs), and community shuras to improve access to essential health services at the community level.

Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards within YAAR and amongst beneficiaries served by YAAR.
