Job Descriptions:

The Reporting Officer plays a vital role in the School Feeding Bread Project in Samangan province. This position is responsible for compiling, analyzing, and reporting data related to the project's implementation. The officer acts as a liaison between schools, field staff, and the Donor field Office, ensuring that all reports and communication is timely, accurate, and supports the overall effectiveness of the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze information from field staff and schools, including attendance records.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for Donor and ASIO, showcasing program results.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the Donor Field Office regarding food requests and logistics.
  • Manage the warehouse plan to ensure efficient storage and distribution of food items.
  • Maintain updated lists of schools and students participating in the program.
  • Develop and design report templates and assist in setting project indicators for monitoring purposes.
  • Train school staff and community members on effective reporting practices to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Facilitate open communication channels with school staff, parents, and local communities to gather feedback and improve program implementation.
  • Utilize reports to track progress, identify and resolve issues, and support decision-making processes.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in report writing and data management, preferably in educational or nutritional programs.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and train staff effectively.
  • Familiarity with M&E methodologies and reporting standards.
