Job Descriptions:

Key Responsibilities

The Officer Keeper/Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized office environment at the REHA HQ in Kabul, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and conducive to a productive workplace.

  • Maintain a clean and sanitized office environment: Ensure cleanliness of desks, meeting rooms, restrooms, and common areas, while effectively managing waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote environmental sustainability.
  • Monitor and manage office supplies: Keep an inventory of office supplies, ensuring timely replenishment and organized storage to facilitate smooth operations across the organization.
  • Report maintenance issues and assist with event setups: Identify and report any maintenance needs in the office, assist in the arrangement of meeting and event spaces, and ensure equipment is prepared and available as required.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations: Maintain a secure working environment by following all health and safety protocols, ensuring that safety equipment is in place, and promoting a workplace free from hazards.

Shift Details: The Officer Keeper/Cleaner will work in two shifts, with schedules determined by the manager.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum of a high school diploma (12th grade) preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in cleaning or facility management roles preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit to perform cleaning tasks and capable of lifting heavy items as needed.

Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
