About Afghanistan Relief & Sustainable Development Organization (ARSDO)

Afghanistan Relief and Sustainable Development Organization (ARSDO) is a national, non-profit development organization established in 2017 and registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan (Registration No. 4190). ARSDO has a strong grassroots presence and extensive experience in designing and implementing community-based development and humanitarian interventions across Afghanistan.

ARSDO works through a three-pronged strategy: 1. Job Description

Leads nutrition program implementation and ensures screening, referral, and treatment of malnourished cases in accordance with national protocols.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise nutrition services delivery in all health facilities.
  2. Ensure timely supply and correct use of nutrition commodities and supplements.
  3. Conduct on-site coaching for nutrition counselors and health workers.
  4. Monitor and report nutrition indicators through HMIS and ARSDO tools.
  5. Coordinate with other program officers to integrate nutrition into health services.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s in Nutrition, Public Health, or related discipline.
  2. Five years of practical experience in nutrition programs.
  3. Familiar with IMAM and IYCF guidelines and tools.
  4. Fluent in Pashto and Dari; English preferred.
