Job Description

Under direct management and technical supervision of CEP Officers and Project Manager. The Social Mobilizers will be assigned to provide support on data collection, evidence generation, social mobilization and community engagement in programme interventions, establishing and maintaining community feedback mechanism and at community and CEFCs.

  • Collect data and programmatic information on Health, Nutrition, WASH, Education and Child Protection programs ongoing activities at district level for CEP and AAP programme planning and decision making.
  • Conduct mapping of district level community structures of (CHWs, SMSs, TAAVON, Youths, GMGs/FHAG, FGs, CPAN etc.) for integrated CEP and AAP programme planning and implementation.
  • Reach communities with programmatic messages related to Health, Nutrition and WASH key behaviours/practices.
  • Engage community structures and people (men, women, boys and girls) through integrated CEP sessions at households and community level to practice and promote WASH, Nutrition and Health behaviours.
  • Ensure local coordination and collaboration with key stakeholders and actors at districts, community and health facilities level.
  • Provide support to the implementation and monitoring of NIDs/Immunization, Nutrition and WASH programme campaigns at district and community level. 
  • Collect, register and timely follow-up for closure of (Health, Nutrition, WASH, Education, Child Protection and Emergency Response) community feedback through integrated CEP sessions and Community Engagement and Feedback Center.
  • Engage community structures and key influencers in collecting/responding to community feedback.
  • Identify human-interest stories of CEP interventions, provide support to the distribution of relevant supplies IEC and BCC materials and supplies.
  • Conduct frequent programme field visits to project sites to ensure smooth implementation of the CEP/AAP activities based on annual workplan.
