FSCWEO works to promote social change, empower women and youth, and support vulnerable communities through programs in education, health, WASH, livelihoods, human rights, and humanitarian assistance. With active offices in Kandahar, Herat, Helmand, Farah, Daikundi, Nangarhar and Nimruz, the organization aims to build an Afghanistan where all people—regardless of gender, ethnicity, or religion—live in dignity and equality.

Job Responsibilities Job Responsibilities Job Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians in the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of animals.
- Prepare animals for medical procedures, surgeries, and diagnostic tests.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
- Collect and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and tissue specimens.
- Monitor animal health and behavior before, during, and after treatment or surgery.
- Maintain accurate medical records, treatment logs, and vaccination records.
- Provide routine animal care, including feeding, grooming, and cleaning of housing facilities.
- Assist in disease surveillance, outbreak investigations, and animal health campaigns.
- Educate animal owners on proper animal care, nutrition, disease prevention, and vaccination schedules.
- Operate and maintain veterinary equipment and ensure proper sterilization of instruments.
- Support livestock health programs, including deworming, vaccination, and breeding activities.
- Ensure compliance with animal welfare standards and veterinary health regulations.
- Manage inventory of veterinary medicines, supplies, and equipment.
- Assist in field visits, community outreach, and livestock extension activities.
- Prepare reports and submit animal health data to supervisors and relevant authorities.
- Respond to animal health emergencies and provide first aid when required.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic working environment within veterinary facilities
