CCTV Operator-Night Shift

As another landmark development of the renowned Gulbahar Investment, Gulbahar towers is set to become the exciting residential apartment buildings. • One of Gulbahar Investment`s new project is Gulbahar Plaza which is under construction. The architectural and structural design and construction supervision of Gulbahar Plaza as a new commercial residential complex at the Airport Main Road in Microyan Destrict, in Kabul-Afghanistan

 Purpose of the Position

To monitor, operate, and maintain constant surveillance of CCTV systems during the day shift in order to ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets.

 Key Responsibilities

1.      Surveillance & Monitoring

o    Continuously monitor all CCTV cameras and alarm systems.

o    Detect, observe, and report any suspicious activities or security breaches.

o    Track movement of people, vehicles, and assets within the premises.

2.      Incident Reporting

o    Accurately record all incidents in the security logbook.

o    Prepare and submit detailed incident reports to the supervisor.

o    Immediately escalate critical incidents to relevant authorities or management.

3.      System Operation & Maintenance

o    Ensure all cameras and monitoring equipment are working properly.

o    Report faulty equipment promptly for repair.

o    Maintain confidentiality and integrity of surveillance footage.

4.      Access Control Support

o    Support night access control through camera verification.

o    Coordinate with security guards for ground response when necessary.

5.      Data Handling & Evidence Management

o    Safely store and retrieve CCTV footage when required.

o    Maintain proper chain of custody for evidential recordings.

o    Prevent unauthorized access to CCTV systems.

6.      Communication & Coordination

o    Maintain constant communication with on-ground day security personnel.

o    Coordinate emergency responses with police, fire, or medical services if required.

7.      Compliance & Safety

o    Follow all security policies, SOPs, and legal requirements.

o    Uphold professional conduct and confidentiality at all times.

o    Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.

·         Ability to work independently during day hours.

Working Conditions

·         Long hours in a control room environment.

·         Prolonged screen exposure.

·         May require handling emergency or high-stress situations.

Confidentiality Clause

The night Shift CCTV Operator shall:

·         Maintain strict confidentiality of all surveillance information.

·         Not disclose footage or security data to unauthorized persons.

·         Adhere to all company and legal data protection policies.

 Qualifications & Experience

·          Bachelor in Information Technology 

·         Certification in CCTV operation or security management is an added advantage.

·         Previous experience as CCTV operator or security personnel preferred.

·         Basic computer skills and ability to operate surveillance software.

·         Good eyesight, attention to detail, and alertness during day hours.
