Application Officer

New Kabul Bank started its banking activities on 18 April 2011 by having received its license as a commercial bank under banking system of the country. 

New Kabul Bank is operating by CBS system and providing services for valued citizens by covering a wide network all over Afghanistan with professional and experienced cadre.

Job Description: (شرح وظیفه)

• Responsibilities include installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, cloning and performance monitoring, support and optimization various Oracle Applications, JAVA application, Oracle Web Cache, Web Logic and Oracle Apache applications and NKB Web site Configuration.

• Timely checkup of Oracle Applications Server (OPS) status, mount point size (/oracle), Web Cache mount point size and overall performance through EM.
• Checking Application Server performance.
•  Maintenance of other Applications like 3131, SMS, Assured ID, etc..
• Manage an enterprise deployment topology.
• Use the monitoring and alerting capabilities of oracle Enterprise manager to ensure and notified of any potential performance problem in system.
• Periodic Restarting of OC4J and creating, modifying, deleting, KRSA users.
• Creating, modifying, deleting, Assure ID users.
• Provide maintenance and customization services for KRSA, Assure ID, 3131 and Voice System.
• Knowledge sharing with fellow team members.
• Responsible for maintenance and modification of NKB website and Website integration with modern social media networks.
•  Physical checkup of all the application servers and on call availability 24/7.
• Design the website layout (responsive design) and necessary graphics. Maintain and redesign the website when requirements change.

• Optimize for search (Search Engine Optimization).
• Website integration with modern social media networks.
• Any other task assigned by immediate supervisor.
• Implement and timely review Application related policies and suggest changes to IT management according to current technological challenges and threats.

Monitoring of all the Applications and on call availability 24/7 and ensures 100% uptime and work as a team.

EDUCATION (تحصیلات): Bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems equivalent experience in the related field. Oracle Certification in Fusion middleware will be preferred.

EXPERIENCE (تجارب) : Minimum 1 year programming and web development experience required, Java and PHP programming experience preferred, good understanding of Software Development Processes, Working experience in Oracle Applications administration, Oracle Apache and Web Cache required, Oracle Certification in Fusion middleware will be preferred

SKILLS (مهارت) :Troubleshooting and problem solving skills and excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team
