Procurement of DRR equipment

Organization of Rural Development & Rehabilitation is a non-political, non-religious, and non-profit structure established on 1996 with the title of Rural Development & Rehabilitation (RDR) under license # 3958 and registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan. In the respect to the country regulations and law, the name of RDR changed to ORDR (Organization of Rural Development and Rehabilitation) on 2016. ORDR serves in the field of humanitarian assistance, health, education, Agriculture and women protection services.

The procurement of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) equipment is essential to strengthen preparedness, enhance emergency response capacity, and reduce the impact of natural hazards on vulnerable communities. Access to appropriate DRR equipment enables timely and effective response during emergencies, supports risk mitigation measures, and contributes to safeguarding lives, livelihoods, and critical infrastructure.

This procurement aims to ensure the availability of reliable and quality equipment that meets the operational requirements of disaster preparedness and response activities. The selected equipment will support local authorities, community-based disaster management structures, and implementing partners in carrying out effective DRR interventions in accordance with project objectives and applicable technical standards.

Organizations and suppliers with the required technical capacity and relevant experience are invited to request the complete Request for Proposal (RFP) package.

Bidders must be legally registered logistics, trading, or supply companies authorized to operate in Afghanistan. Companies shall provide valid business registration documents and any other licenses or certifications required under applicable laws and regulations.

Only eligible companies with demonstrated experience in the supply and delivery of similar equipment are encouraged to submit proposals.

Interested bidders are requested to obtain the complete Request for Proposal (RFP) package, complete all required forms, and submit their proposals electronically to info@ordr.org.af no later than 11 July 2026, Close of Business (CoB).

The email subject line must clearly state the RFP Number ( RFP No. ORDR/DRR/2026/001).

Late or incomplete submissions, or proposals submitted without the correct RFP number in the subject line, may not be considered.
