Earsa Omran Construction Company is looking for a qualified Quality Control Engineer to supervise and ensure the quality of road construction works in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and QA/QC standards. The engineer will be responsible for inspection, testing, quality documentation, and coordination with the project team throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and monitor all site construction activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
• Ensure that all construction works comply with quality standards and contract requirements.
• Inspect and approve excavation, subgrade, base course, drainage, concrete, and pavement works before and during execution.
• Monitoring QA/QC tests, including FDT, Slump Test, Concrete Cylender test, and other required field tests.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineer, Consultant, and Client during inspections and site activities.
• Prepare Method Statements, quality reports, and daily site reports.
• Verify that all construction materials meet the approved technical specifications before use.
• Supervise site staff, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure proper execution of works.
• Monitor project progress and ensure activities are completed according to the drawings.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements on site.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation, testing records, and project files.
• Assist in project measurement, quantity verification, and preparation of work progress reports.
• Attend coordination meetings with the Client, Consultant, and project team.

• BSc in Civil Engineering or relevant field
• A minimum of 6 years of general working experience and 3 years of similar working experience
• Previous experience in UNOPS CRLP (Plum Concrete Road) projects is required 
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and other relevant engineering software.
• Proven experience in interpreting and implementing engineering drawings, technical specifications, on construction sites.
• Ability to prepare quality inspection reports, daily site reports, and maintain QA/QC documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with the Project Manager, consultants, and contractors.
• Excellent Dari, Pashto and English language skills.
