Serve Afghanistan is a British NGO with project activities in the regions of Kabul, Jalalabad, Laghman, Kandahar and Parwan. Our 100+ Afghan staff is active in the field of disability and community development. Most of our projects have a long-term focus and therefore we value the continued training of our staff and seek to use the talents and optimize the capacities of each individual member of our teams.

Serve Afghanistan is currently working in 12 projects in 5 main sectors which are Inclusive Education for disabled children, Livelihood, Mother, Child Health & Nutrition, Mother Tongue Literacy and Disaster Management

Main Duty: Perform Vaccination in the Health Center

 Responsibilities:

1. To procure all vaccinations from EPI organization for Health clinic.
2. Check and control all vaccines.
3. To prepare request list for all vaccination and vaccination internment for EPI organization.
4. Responsible to keep all vaccination and store all vaccination in a good temperature.
5. To make plan for Outreach clinic and hospital working.
6. Keep the repetition of vaccination according to their time table.
7. To work in outreach clinics according to the policy and procedure of the Organization.
8. Making plan for health education about EPI program, Diarrhea, Respiratory disease, and nutrition.
9. To collect the activity report and submit to the patient services and HMIS director monthly.
10. To give TT injection to pregnant lady
11. To vaccinate adults and infants in the clinic as per the protocol.
12. To register every single patient daily.
13. To educate the patient family about the benefit of Vaccination.
14. Carry out any duties assigned by direct supervisor.
15. Good Communication and Behavior with BHC clientele.
16. To work as community health worker and supervisor in the fields as required by the clinic.

• Good Communication skills to speak and write in Pashto, Dari and if English is known it adds more values.   
• Computer skill is preferable.
• Post Baccalaureate or 14th in Health.
• At least 2 years of experience as Vaccinator.
• At least to have attended initial or refresher Training of EPI
