Job Description

Aseel Technology Corporation, through its Afghan Women in Tech Leadership (AWTL) Fellowship and in partnership with the Humanity and Community Development Foundation (HUCOMDEF), seeks a Fundraising & Campaigns Associate to support resource mobilization for HUCOMDEF’s AidOS.

The fellow will contribute to donor research and engagement, fundraising pipeline development, digital campaign development, partnership outreach, campaign content, and fundraising systems to strengthen HUCOMDEF’s visibility, donor engagement, and access to funding.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain an AidOS-aligned fundraising pipeline, including a structured prospect tracker covering donors, foundations, corporate partners and other funding opportunities.

• Research and map prospective donors and funding opportunities, producing concise donor profiles, eligibility checks, deadlines and opportunity briefs.

• Prepare and organize fundraising materials, including concept notes, proposal inputs, donor briefs, organizational profiles, capability statements and campaign content.

• Develop and coordinate digital fundraising and awareness campaigns, producing campaign plans, key messages, content calendars and platform-ready materials.

• Create and schedule donor- and supporter-facing content for relevant digital channels, ensuring accurate, ethical and impact-focused communication.

• Coordinate donor engagement activities, maintaining a contact and follow-up tracker and preparing tailored outreach, meeting briefs and follow-up communications.

• Monitor fundraising and digital campaign performance, compiling monthly dashboards on prospects, submissions, engagement, follow-ups, content performance and emerging opportunities.

• Support partnership development by identifying prospective institutions and preparing partnership intelligence, introductory materials and engagement briefs.

• Maintain an organized digital repository of fundraising, donor, campaign and communications resources, templates and evidence to improve institutional readiness and continuity.



Job Requirements

Education

·        Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, International Development, Development Studies, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.

Professional Experience

·        At least one (1) year of relevant experience through employment, internship, volunteering, freelancing or demonstrated project work in fundraising, communications, digital marketing, donor engagement, research or a related area.

Technical Skills

·        Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; practical familiarity with Canva and social media platforms; ability to conduct online donor/funding research; basic spreadsheet and data-tracking skills; and willingness to learn AidOS and other digital fundraising tools.

Language Skills

·        Strong written and spoken English.
