About Asia Chain Laboratoary
Asia Lab medical
diagnosis chain laboratories established in 2017 and launched its branches in
the different provinces of Afghanistan such as Kabul, Herat, Kandahar,
Mazar-e-Sharif, Ghor, Takhar, etc. Asia Lab started its operation under the
authorization of Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan. Asia Lab is suppling
high quality diagnosis services across Afghanistan by benefiting from the
skilled and knowledgeable personnel.
These laboratories are
supplying services in the different sections including Hematology, Clinical
Chemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, Parasitology, Serology, Mycology,
Endocrinology, Histology, Pathology, PCR, Virology, Enzymology and blood bank.
Asia Lab has been
equipped to the modern laboratory machinery and equipment and by using the
newest diagnosis methods, is trying to improve medical diagnosis in
Afghanistan.
We believe that the professionalism and commitment are very significant to reach to our positive objectives therefore; we always inspire our managers and skilled personnel to motivate them and create loyalty and commitment to the society. Undoubtedly, enhancing of knowledge of the personnel, will create improvement in term of the more precise and accurate diagnosis, therefore we always arrange educational programs for all of our personnel to increase their knowledge about how operate the machinery to be able to get more accurate results.
Job Description
- Punctual attendance at the workplace
and performing assigned duties until the end of working hours.
- Supervising and coordinating the
daily activities of laboratory staff and ensuring the proper performance
of assigned duties.
- Preparing and managing the work
schedules of laboratory staff and ensuring adequate staffing coverage for
all shifts.
- Daily inspection of all laboratory
equipment and machines before starting work and ensuring their proper
functioning.
- Performing laboratory tests
accurately and efficiently in accordance with doctors’ instructions and
patient request forms.
- Reviewing and verifying laboratory
test results to ensure their accuracy and validity before reporting or
releasing them.
- Reporting laboratory test results
and significant laboratory issues to laboratory management in a timely
manner.
- Monitoring the implementation of
internal quality control procedures and identifying and following up on
non-conformities in laboratory testing processes.
- Ensuring proper storage, handling,
identification, and management of laboratory materials and consumables.
- Maintaining accurate records of
laboratory consumables and ensuring timely replenishment of required
supplies.
- Ensuring the proper identification
and safe storage of normal, hazardous, and explosive materials in
designated cabinets.
- Ensuring the timely reporting and
disposal of expired laboratory materials after completion of the required
administrative procedures.
- Maintaining personal hygiene and
ensuring cleanliness and proper organization of the laboratory, materials,
and equipment.
- Ensuring effective communication and
coordination among different laboratory units and staff members.
- Preventing laboratory errors through
proper planning, supervision, and implementation of established
procedures.
- Strictly adhering to laboratory
safety principles and procedures related to physical, chemical, and
biological hazards.
- Ensuring consistent implementation
of infection prevention and control standards and other applicable
laboratory guidelines.
- Addressing and following up on
technical and professional issues within the laboratory and reporting
significant matters to management.
- Transferring professional knowledge
and skills to laboratory staff and providing guidance when necessary.
- Maintaining confidentiality and
ensuring that all patient, laboratory, and organizational information
obtained during work is kept strictly confidential.
Job Requirements
Skills:
- Leadership and Team Management:
Ability to supervise, coordinate, and effectively manage laboratory staff
and daily laboratory activities.
- Laboratory Quality & Safety
Management: Strong knowledge of laboratory quality control, safety
procedures, infection prevention, and proper handling of laboratory
materials and equipment.
- Problem-Solving and Professional
Communication: Ability to identify and resolve laboratory-related
technical and professional issues, communicate effectively with staff and
management, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Proficiency in performing a wide
range of laboratory tests and procedures.
- Experience with laboratory
information systems (LIS)
Job
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Medical Technology.
- Flexibility and ability to work
under pressure and meeting of deadlines
