We do this by working with local actors to develop safe and inclusive local programming that is evidence based, conflict sensitive, climate smart, and reaches those in need.

Job Description

Monitoring and providing general care to patients at Charborjak CHC.

Admitting patients requiring special care followed by investigations and treatment.

Examining and talking to patients to diagnose their medical conditions.

Making notes and preparing paperwork, both as a legal record of treatment and for the benefit of other healthcare professionals.

Working with other doctors as part of a team, either in the same department or within another department.

Giving priorities to those patients with critical condition.

Liaising with other medical and non-medical staff in the Charborjak CHC to ensure quality treatment.

Promoting health education.

Provide night duties in case of need and as instructed by the HF relevant staff.

Adherence to all organizational policies and procedures as outlined in RIs’ policies and procedure manuals.

Conduct him/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to RI and not to jeopardize its humanitarian mission.

Any other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements

Medical Doctor (MD degree)

At least 1 year work experience in Health sector (As a GP in Curative medicine and treatment)

Preferably with international donor-funded projects, UN agencies or NGO's on relevant programs in Afghanistan.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Fluency in Dari and Pashto. Excellent English.

Residency in the district is an advantage
