Key responsibilities

Sales

1.      Achieve monthly sales targets by product line and territory.

2.      Visit distributors, wholesalers, retailers, workshops and supermarkets regularly.

3.      Take orders, follow up deliveries and collect payments on time.

4.      Keep product displays, stock levels and pricing correct at retail points.

5.      Handle customer complaints and returns, and report quality issues to production.

6.      Build long-term relationships with existing customers and grow their orders.

7.      Prepare daily visit reports and weekly and monthly sales reports.

Marketing

1.      Plan and run promotions, discounts, sampling and in-store activations.

2.      Prepare brochures, product catalogs, posters, banners and point-of-sale materials.

3.      Organize product launches and participate in exhibitions.

4.      Collect market feedback on prices, competitors and customer needs.

5.      Work with the Social Media Officer so online campaigns match field promotions.

6.      Track marketing spend and measure the sales result of each campaign.

•       Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.

•       2–4 years in sales and marketing, preferably in FMCG, detergents, food or lubricants.

•       Strong communication, persuasion and customer-handling skills.

•       Good knowledge of local retail and wholesale markets.

•       Basic understanding of branding, promotions and pricing.

•       Good English plus local languages; MS Office skills.

•       Driving license and willingness to travel.

Key performance indicators (KPIs)

•       Monthly sales value and volume against target.

•       Number of active customers and new retail points opened.

•       Payment collection rate and overdue balances.

•       Results of each promotion (sales uplift vs. cost).
